As I mentioned in my post on the Port Elliot Bakery in South Australia, pie’s are very popular in Australia. So this review is short and sweet and gives mention to a pie chain in Melbourne which I found quite tasty and cheap and definately recommend! Pie face first got my attention as I liked the fun little faces all over the entrance – and the fact it is bright red and I could smell fresh pies! (Incidentally, PLEASE visit their website...it's SO fun! I now love Pie Face even more!!)
We went a couple of times during our stay in Melbourne for lunch when alternating from sushi! I recommend the pies with gravy and peas – hmmmm!
