Food Glossary: Media Luna
The media luna (half moon) is a croissant served with a sweet glaze or cooked with more sugar to give it a very sweet taste! It is very common in Argentina and is eaten for breakfast or as a snack during the day. They are tasty - but very easy to consume and usually for breakfast we were given a basket full!!
