Café del Mar is a bar that sits on top of the city walls overlooking the ocean and has an absolutely stunning over the city. You can see the prominent buildings in the old town, as well as the colourful streets across the city. At nights the city lights reflect in the sea and the bar is really a great place to sit and enjoy a drink. A popular location to watch the sunset and have a cocktail this bar is a must for a visit to Cartagena.
The seating is comprised of sofas, beds, and comfy chairs surrounding tables. There is a DJ set up in one of the old towers playing chilled out music and it is set up as table service. The drinks are a little on the pricey side and so we just treated ourselves to one cocktail and enjoyed the atmosphere before heading on.
