Cooking lesson 5: Elizabeth’s Tortas

Ingredients

8 lb flour 
28 oz margarine/butter
3 oz cinnamon
1 cup of milk
7 lb sugar
pinch of salt
6 eggs 
4 oz bicarbonate of soda

Method


1. Mix the flour with the butter and sugar and whisk until fine.


2. Mix the cinnamon into the milk, then beat the eggs in, add a pinch of salt and the bicarbonate of soda.













3. Grease the cake tins and cook in the oven at 180 for 15-20mins.
