The world's first ever pasty competition was held on Saturday 3rd March in Cornwall...the historical and now legal home of the Cornish pasty!

More than 100 competitors from around the world took part in the event. It was backed by the Cornish Pasty Association, which won protected status from the EU for the Cornish pasty last year.

A bit of fun while travelling in Argentina

Globe Troffer loves exploring as well as eating!  Here is a little fun video of a day at one of the world's seven natural wonders: the Perito Moreno glacier in Patagonia, Argentina....

I can't put into words just how incredible seeing this was.  It really is one of the most amazing experiences of my life.

To find out more about the food I enjoyed while in Argentina click here.

The day after this trip we crossed the border into Chile and had a great time exploring the national park Torres del Paine, as well as enjoying more delicious food!

A sensational food-filled summer at Whitecross Street Food Market, London

Here are just a few pictures that show how food-filled the Whitecross Street Food Market is.  I enjoyed tasty burritos, spicy Indian, fresh falafal wraps, carvery rolls and more here during my 4 months working on the next street this summer!

The street is a vibrant, food and arts hub, historical place for those working, living or passing through to enjoy.  It is one of the oldest markets in London as it first started trading in the 17th century.  The street is thriving from professionals during the week who seem to descend on the market during the hours of 12 and 2 each day.
